The Speeder in Grand Theft Auto V is based on the Riva Aquarama, a quite famous runabout. It may seems strange that it is made by Pegassi, previously a brand that exclusively made cars and bikes, with many hints towards Lamborghini and Ducati: neither of whom is a boat manufacturer. This may be a reference to Ferruccio Lamborghini, the founder of Lamborghini, whom ordered a custom Aquarama to be fitted with two of his own V12 engines, taken from the 350GT. Thus, a one-of-a-kind Aquarama was born, often dubbed the "Riva Aquarama Lamborghini".
