Melvin Harris, always called by his gang name Big Smoke was a member of the [[[Grove Street Families]]. He used to be CJ's friend, but later on you find out he is involved in drug trades with the San Fierro Rifa, he knows more about the murder of CJ's mother and that he wants to kill Sweet. CJ wants to take revenge, but this takes a while, until the end of the game. Big Smoke will be killed in his Crack Palace, just before his death he admits that he couldn't resist the temptation to prove himself. He always drives in a light blue Glendale.
