Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City is a bundle of two expansions for GTA IV. This pack is including Grand Theft Auto: The Ballad of Gay Tony and Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned. These two games are on a single disc for the Xbox 360, so you don't need GTA: IV to play this games. Besides this, the two games are downloadable if you have already got GTA: IV. When you buy the disc 'Episodes From Liberty City', the story with Niko Bellic (GTA: IV) isn't available to play. Only the expansions are playable. Episodes From Liberty City was released on October 29, 2009. On April 16, 2010 was Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City available for the PlayStation 3 and PC.
The terms Episodes and 'Downloadable Content' (DLC) are also used to indicate the Episodes From Liberty City. The first expansion of GTA IV was announced as "GTA IV: Episode One" before the actual title "The Lost and Damned" was announced.
