The shovel can be used as a blunt weapon in GTA San Andreas.

• The shovel can be found at several macabre locations, such as the cemetary in Palomino Creek and near to the three graves next to Catalina's cabin in Fern Ridge.
• Prior to his death, Officer Hernandez is beaten with a shovel by officer Tenpenny.
• When you steal a car, the original owner sometimes comes after you with a shovel.
