In GTA San Andreas you can have six girlfriends. You can go out for a date with these ladies, sometimes you can go out for a meal or you can dance the night away. For each successful date you will get a reward: extra progress. When you reach the 100% you will get a suit from most of your girlfriends delivered in your wardrobe. There are three kind of dates: dancing, go out for a meal and go out for a drive. You can date a girlfriend only once in 24 hours. During a date you can give your girlfriend a gift to satisfy her and improve your progress with a girl. Below you will find some information about the kind of dates and about the girlfriends and their likes and dislikes. Girlfriends will be marked on the radar with this marker:

The demands of some ladies towards Carl Johnson, like the amount of fat and muscles, can be ignored as soon as all the oysters are collected, than they all wanna be his girlfriend. The progress needed for sex after a successful date will be canceled as soon as all oysters are collected, after a successful date they always wanna have sex despite the progress. And when you killed Helena, Michelle, Katie or Barbara by accident or if one of these ladies have dumped CJ than they can be found at their meeting point, but only if CJ owns all 50 oysters. To bad this benefit doesn't count for the girlfriends Denise and Millie because they don't have a standard meeting point, for that matter CJ meets them in a mission.

The go-out-for-a-meal date

This kind of date you will get at the start of your relation, and is also the easiest date to complete. For a successful date it's necessary you go to the right spot. You can choose between a bar, a diner, a restaurant or a fast-food restaurant. Most of the girlfriends don't like the last mentioned. When you go inside the establishment, you'll see a short cut scene. Now you'll know if your girlfriend has a nice time or not depending on the music and her attitude.

The dancing date

Most people think this is the worst kind of date of the three. Your girlfriend wants to go to a club to dance. You've to do it the same way as you did in the mission Life's a Beach at the beach party. You just have to dance on the music by pushing the buttons you see at the bottom of the screen. When you do this the right way for a few dates, CJ will dance differently, namely he will move much more. When you are dancing you have to get a minimum number of points to satisfy your girlfriend. When you go on a dancing-date frequently, that number of points will become higher and higher. You can practice dancing by walking into the disco when you are not on a date. This is the same as when you are on a date, but not with your girlfriend.

The driving date

Most of the time this is a very easy date, but it may take a while. Your girlfriend wants to drive around, of course in her favourite neighbourhood. The speed is different, some of them want to drive very fast and reckless, others wants to drive leisurely. When you drive in the wrong neighbourhood, your girlfriend will tell you. She also does that when you drive to fast or to slow. The "Fun-meter" has to be full to make it a successful date, when it's empty the date has failed. A hint for the ladies who want to drive leisurely: drive your car in reverse, this will result in the speed she likes almost every time!
